Words, sentences & stories
From Words to Whole Stories
Short phrases, missing verbs, mixed-up word order, or trouble retelling the school day all point to expressive language gaps. This program systematically grows what children can say — more words, longer sentences, clearer stories — through cooking, building, pretend play, and joke-telling.
We also tackle the social side: asking questions, taking turns, and keeping a conversation rolling with friends.
- Expressive vocabulary and grammar analysis
- Sentence frames and story grammar tools
- Conversation practice with peers

Expressive Language FAQs
How many words should my 2-year-old say?+
Roughly 50 words and two-word combos by age two. Our screening compares your child to milestones and shows the fastest route forward.
Will you teach grammar rules?+
Never as rules — children absorb grammar through modeled patterns in play. We engineer hundreds of natural repetitions per session.
My child talks a lot but tells rambling stories. Help?+
Yes — that's a narrative skill gap. Story maps with characters, problem, and ending turn rambling into riveting.
Do siblings join sessions?+
Often, and it helps enormously. Peer models accelerate conversation skills faster than adult models alone.
