Where First Words Take Off
The First Words Group gathers four late talkers with two therapists for 45 minutes of songs, bubbles, snack rituals, and toy surprises. Every activity is engineered to pull out gestures, sounds, and — soon — words.
Parents watch live, learn the exact cues we use, and leave with a one-page home plan. Most children say their first new words within the first month.
- Four children, two therapists, one joyful room
- Weekly sessions across an 8-week term
- Word-count tracking shared with parents monthly
Inside the sessions
A Typical Morning
Hello Song
Names, waves, and animal sounds warm up voices and invite every child to participate.
Surprise Box
One toy revealed at a time builds anticipation — the perfect moment to model its name.
Snack Chat
“More cracker?” Choices and requests turn eating into the best language lesson of the day.
Bubbles Goodbye
Pop, blow, and “bye-bye” practice ends the session with movement and giggles.
